From Jam Bands!! I really thought that traveling 3000+ miles might save me but married to John I should have known better:) Isn’t it completely normal to go see Drive By Truckers 3 days after getting to a new country?!?!? John had visions of hanging with the band and telling them that he was their biggest fan but apparently there are quite a few bigger fans that got to the concert way before us! Luckily, they too liked to fist pump and nod their head so John fit right in:)
* This is as close as John could get for a picture.
I will confess there was something nice about hearing those familiar tunes and even better we ran into a friend from high school who is living in London (Jeff Snyder) so for a quick second it was like we never left until we remembered the beer is served warm:) Next week we are *hopefully* finding our apartment so fingers crossed the next post will be pictures of our apartment! Have a great weekend. Cherrio!

These are words uttered by John multiple times today:) We arrived in one piece with all of our bags which was a major feat as you can see from the pictures…one thing we are not is light packers!
After a little nap (to ensure there was not a sinking spell) we went out and explored a bit. We tackled a few things:
1) Found John’s office…check!
2) Found the closest grocery store…check!
3) Bought a tube pass…check!
4) Looked the wrong way multiple times crossing the street….check!
I am sure we will have our moments when we feel like this:
*Yes we actually passed this confusing monster today..
But hopefully we can follow this motto!
* I will work on getting my fingers out of the picture the next time:)
Thanks Matt and Susan for setting up the blog
